| I bought this Crepe Myrtle in 2004 before I was laid off from EDS It bloomed the first time in 2009. It had a very hard early plant life. |

| I bought this one in 2010 from Lowes. By now I had develope a routine, I would go to Lowes on Saturdays mornings bright and early. If I had to be in Durham, I would work on the yard until it was time to get ready for my meeting or whatever the reason I would be in Durham, otherwise I would go visit with Mom at the resthome, check on my father in Kittrell and take care of their needs. Whatever time I got back to Durham I would pull or spray weeds, plant flowers, trees and weed John's Rose garden. |

| This is my 2004 Crepe Myrtle. I didn't cut it back this year, beacuse the stump in the picture, when that tree was cut down, it fell on it. I decided that it had lost enough limb for this year, but it grew like it loved the torture |
